X Marks the Spot Scavenger Hunt with Abby, Eliza & Tookie
Abby, Eliza, and Tookie will lead 12 Sprucers on a thrilling scavenger hunt through the Boston Common and Public Garden on Wednesday, May 14th. After solving riddles and following the clues on their maps, will they find treasure where the X marks the spot? With a trip to Mr. Frosty to celebrate their certain success, this will be a day to remember! Students who don't attend school on Wednesdays are welcome to join us at Spruce at 1:15. Dismissal will be from Spruce at 3:30 PM.

Willows in the Sun
Our Willows took their supplies out to our sunny playgrounds to create this collaborative art piece. After selecting a fresh herb or flower, the Willows created sun prints with special photo paper. The result is a beautiful blue-toned sun print.

Mad Hatter Tea Party in the Public Garden
Your Sprucer is cordially invited to attend the Mad Hatter Tea Party in the Public Garden on Tuesday, May 13th with Nancy and Baird. 10 Sprucers will feast on tea sandwiches and sweet treats while decorating their own tea cups and fancy/wacky hats. Garden games will round out this lovely afternoon. Students who don't attend school on Tuesdays are welcome to join us at Spruce at 1:15. Dismissal will be from Spruce at 3:30 PM.

Green Monster Experience!
What is the best way to take in a game at Fenway? From atop the green monster, of course! Up for auction are four terrific Green Monster tickets to a Red Sox game. Keep an eye out for Wally and Tessie, grab some hot dogs, beers, and cotton candy and take in a thrilling game at America's oldest ballpark (mutually agreed upon regular season game)

Paddling the Swan Boats with Elizabeth and Lily

The Maples' Art and the Love of Reading
Inspired by illustrations from their favorite books, the Maple painted a circular canvas with a gradient rainbow pallet. They then worked together to cut out illustrations from well loved/worn books and decoupaged the images onto the canvas. The result is inspiring!

They Scream for Ice Cream with Hillary and Morgan
On Friday, May 9th, 10 Sprucers will enjoy a thrilling T ride to the Seaport for a magical tour through the Museum of Ice Cream with Hillary and Morgan. From the sprinkle pool, to the fro-yo factory, our Sprucers will be delighted with this sweet excursion. And, no trip to the Museum of Ice Cream would be complete without a scoop or two! Children who normally don't attend school on Fridays are welcome to join us at Spruce at 1:15. Dismissal will be at 3:30 from Spruce.

Private Catered Party at Nautilus Pier Four
Dinner for 8 guests at the Nautilus Pier 4's Capitan's Quarter Bar which includes pre-meal drinks on the patio (weather dependent), a pre-set dinner menu including the famous whole roasted Peking inspired duck, a multi-course cocktail flight from a personal bartender, and a duck wine pairing. Tax, tip and kitchen fee included in the experience (additional gratuity to the amazing staff is always appreciated). The Heart of the Acorns
The Acorn art project depicts a heart that is made from the children's overlapping handprints in pastel colors. The inspiration for this project came from the adage that many hands make light work. The Acorns worked as a team to create something beautiful, one hand print at a time. A poem will be featured on the back of the canvas with quotes from Acorns!
